Special issue on Strategy: Call for website papers to continue the debate

The latest issue of Historical Materialism, a Special Issue on Strategy (Volume 33, Issue 4), aims to help reopen the strategic debate at a particularly complex time where challenges are mounting.

The issue, naturally, does not cover all potential areas of strategic thinking and raises more questions than answers. It is a further step in an open discussion that needs to be continued.

For this reason, with the aim of deepening the debate, we are launching a call for website papers, as a second phase of our strategic discussion. We are seeking contributions that we will run on our website (www.historicalmaterialism.org) that explicitly engage with one or many of the articles in the special issue, either in full or in part.

Submissions:

We are looking for full-length articles, to assess their suitability for publication. However, we are also open to receiving abstracts and proposals yet to be developed.  As we receive proposals, we will assess them and, if accepted, publish them in due course.

Please send articles or proposals to:  info@historicalmaterialism.org

Please indicate in the subject of the email that it is for the ‘Strategy Website CFP’

Deadline:

The call for papers remains open for the time being, with no set end date.

You can see the Table of Contents of the Special issue here: https://www.historicalmaterialism.org/journal/volume-33-issue-4-2025/
