Accomod. Request

Posted by Anders Ekeland at Oct 18, 2012 12:07 PM

I am an 57 year old, male, Norwegian economist, arriving the 7th leaving 12th.

Would rather pay 30 GBP per night for a good cause, than 60 to hotel owners. Will be leaving early for the conference in the morning, returning late as I have appointments almost every evening of my stay. So I won't bother you much.

I am traveling from Australia to present at the HM conference with no institutional assistance. I would be most grateful for any assistance with free or cheap accommodation from comrades while I am there, even if it is only during the following week, when I will still be in London. You can contact me via the email address on the following webpage: http://people.unisa.edu.au/David.McInerney

I'm an Art History PhD student at the Open University, living in Oxford. It'd be good to have somewhere to sleep in London for the full duration of the conference to avoid commuting back and forth each day. (Obviously it's not an urgent priority for me in the same way as for people coming from abroad). By the way I am also looking for longer term accommodation in London so if anybody knows of a room available to rent that will be available before HM begins, let me know as it would kill two birds with one stone. I'm a 23-year-old female predoctoral student from the U.S. currently living in Greece. I would greatly appreciate a comrade's couch November 8-11. As with most conference participants, I anticipate being out most of the time. Please reply at nvgontzas@gmail.com. Thanks!
