Historical Materialism does not publish short book reviews, instead we publish what are more commonly called 'review essays' (of 3000-6000 words in length). If you would be interested in reviewing any of the books listed (or in submitting a review) please email us at historicalmaterialism@soas.ac.uk stating why you want to review the book(s) and how you are qualified to do so. Please read our Review Guidelines before submitting a review, as we have very specific requirements for our reviews.
